Tretorn is the second oldest sneaker manufacturer in world, with a heritage dating back to the year of 1900. We’ve launched many true originals over the years and in spring 2019 we started the exciting journey of bringing back premium sneakers from our rich archive. Starting with true originals from specific key years, here are five icons brought back to life.
The 1st of May 1900 we produced our first sneaker. 1900 is a reinvention of that very first sneaker, maintaining all the classic original design lines but produced in a modern way within our Eco Essentials Initiative.
Campos was first launched back in the 1940’s and is now back in an updated version. The new Campos is a combination between our two icons Nylite and Racket.
Tournament is a classic tennis sneaker that was first in 1955. In the updated Tournament we have used key aspects from the original sneaker and upgraded it to a contemporary design with extreme comfort.
Racket was first launched in 1961 as “Davis Cup” and this wildly popular sneaker was originally made for professional court tennis. A true original icon that is now back in a modern version, maintaining all the original design lines.
Nylite was launched in 1967 as the first luxury tennis sneaker in the world. It was celebrated on and off the court by world stars like Björn Borg and Aretha Franklin. Now a new and improved Nylite is here.
